These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation as a Contractor on the TyreApp platform. By registering for and using the Contractor App, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Eligibility and approval
- All Contractors must undergo a verification and approval process by TyreApp before accessing and accepting jobs via the Contractor App.
- You must maintain high standards of service quality, customer care, and safety. Failure to maintain these standards may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Use of the Contractor App
- Once a Customer submits a service request, the app will notify nearby Contractors. You may accept or decline a job request.
Upon acceptance, you will be provided with:
- Customer location
- Service details
- Service fee (set by TyreApp)
- Any special instructions
You must arrive at the Customer's location as soon as possible, provide the agreed service, and follow job requirements as described on the app.
Service standards and documentation
You must:
- Take clear "Before" and "After" photos of the work
- Upload these images and any relevant notes into the app
- Follow TyreApp's safety and service quality protocols at all times
In the event of a change in service request (e.g. a puncture becomes a tyre replacement), the Customer must make this change via the TyreApp Customer App.
Payments and charges
Under no circumstances may you:
- Request or receive additional payments from the Customer outside the app
- Cancel a job through the app and proceed to service the Customer privately
Engaging in such behaviour will result in immediate termination and potential legal action.
Cancellation policy and misconduct
- Contractors are permitted to cancel a job within 15 minutes of acceptance. If you cancel after that, you must provide a valid reason and supporting evidence (e.g. vehicle breakdown, emergency).
Unjustified cancellations, repeated job rejections, no-shows, or service manipulation may result in:
- Account suspension
- Removal from the platform
- Requirement to reapply for access
Contractor responsibilities
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of TyreApp. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining valid insurance
- Vehicle maintenance
- Compliance with health and safety standards
- Holding any required licenses or certifications
You are responsible for your own taxes, insurances, and legal compliance.
Complaints and dispute resolution
- Contractors can report issues, concerns, or complaints to info@tyreapp.co.uk.
- TyreApp reserves the right to investigate any incident involving service failure, misconduct, or complaint from a Customer or third party.
Account suspension and termination
TyreApp reserves the right to:
- Temporarily suspend your account for investigation
- Permanently ban you from the platform for any breach of these Terms
You may also be required to reapply for approval if suspended or removed.
Data and privacy
- All information collected via the Contractor App, including photos and service data, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- You consent to TyreApp using the data for service tracking, quality assurance, customer support, and legal compliance.
Modifications to the terms
TyreApp may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
